    Stress is widely accredited with being the prime suspect in the development of disease, whether this is seen as mainly emotional as in depression and anxiety disorder, or physical such as with cancer or autoimmune conditions. But what causes the stress?  Why are we finding it so hard to adapt to our way of living, or to give it up and live stress-free lives? The answer is trauma – both big ‘T’ and little ‘t’ traumas – which have a dramatic impact on our mind and body’s ability to adapt.

    1. Recently I had a foreign lady that had pain all over her body, she was taking morphine several times a day and was still in pain. she had pain in her liver, stomach, shoulder, neck, knees etc. She only understood a few words of english and her husband understood a bit more. About the only word I could get her to understand was anger. Between me and her husband we were able to work out a basic which he told her to say in their language. We tapped for about one and a half hours on each part of her body with her saying anger. She ended up pain free.
  • Last week my daughter and I flew to a hospital across the state to address some of her health problems. The treatment we were looking to pursue was not available at the time. Since we only bought one way tickets, we needed a way to return home. I looked at all of my options including bus, train, air and auto. The auto, by far, was going to be the most economical way for us to return home.

  • I recently began working with “Sandy.” She came into counseling for eating disorders and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The first time that we met I discussed EFT with her. At that time, she was resistant to using EFT and states that she had tried tapping before and did not like it. Since my place is to be a support for her, I let it go at the time because my intent was to develop rapport during our first session. She said that she just wanted to talk.

  • I have been working with “Lisa” for awhile. Usually she is bright and cheerful coming to her appointment. Ready to go to work. Today was different. Her energy appeared very heavy and she looked like something was bothering her. When I asked if she had something on her mind, she stated that her whole family was sick. She felt she was beginning to get sick and was concerned that she would not be able to go to work this afternoon.
